One and only

At the start of the summer I had this huge plan to animate like my life depended on it. Fortunately it doesn't ...cuz i didn't.

One thing led to another and I only got my animation software and setup ready to go in these last few weeks but heres one thing I was able to pull off:

First Commision

A while ago I got my first paid art project from a friend of mine I work with. A relatively simple thing, he had a painting he needed recreated in pencil with a couple changes made.

I just find it really cool to say I had a 'client'

But here it is, finally finished: 14x18 pencil on bristleboard

Heres my study of forearm & calf muscles. For fun I scanned more then just the last piece to see the process, too bad i missed the first with just blue.

Pecks and Quads lesson 1

Newest edition to the skeleton theme. Ive realized as I try to understand anatomy, that directly applying it to a drawing really forces me to know exactly how and where it works. Skeleton Captain = learning
